So, this is the last training session of this camp. Squeeze them out today! As always it happens in training –
we can’t avoid the sprains. Most likely, one of our girls has pulled a ligament. It could be also a meniscus. Not sure yet. She can’t perform the whole movement. She does only half-squat. We’ll see if there is no pain during half-squat,
she wants to continue to jerk. If it hurts, we will make just a pull and rest for a while as we don’t know the pain reason. It’s better to stop lifting until an MRI scan. Good! As you remember from previous episodes,
I have already told that Ahmed has come to camp with trauma. He was injured a month before camp. His inguinal rings were sprained. It was difficult for him to squat on the full amplitude In general, he squatted on a chair and a lot of split squats, stretching. All exercises were performed in half-squat. As a result, in two weeks and even today
he made a snatch in full squat. He jerks well and we see his progress. As to Vova, I give him advice about jerk. His push jerk is better than a split jerk. Everyone makes their choice. It is hard to say what is better or worse. He leans much on his front foot and
loses balance because of it. But it will disappear in push jerk. 75% Marcella has almost done 100%. Her best result is 61 kg. Now she is trying to lift 60 kg. Marcella has added one kg. We’ll make her achieve more. As it is the last training, all guys want to give their best. Sure, it is great, but sometimes I have to restrain them from getting injured. Good! When Samir has just come to our camp, he said he has problems with a snatch. But as it has appeared he also has problems with a jerk. For two weeks we have fixed his movement. However, he needs much more time to lift the heavy weights. Sometimes when he makes two reps, 70-80%, one of them is good, the other one is bad. It is a big difference in the result. Now it was good. So, let’s sum up the results. For a two-week camp, we have 18 PRs. 6 of 10 guys have lifted their best results. One guy has made a 100% result that he lifted before.
